This role will provide mentorship to the End User Computing Specialist. This role will be responsible for vendor mangement and budget control for hardware, software, telecom, etc.  Trouble shoots 400 plus user LAN/WAN networking environment with configuration, installation, maintenance and repair of all PC hardware, software, operating systems, printers, and telephones.  This position also provides backup to mid-range computer operations.




  • Setup laptop/desktop PCs and computer peripherals.
  • Respond to user requests according to SLA.
  • Log and record all requests from users into the PC Support ticket database.
  • Develop, revise and sustain all PC related documentation.
  • Support PC hardware, peripherals, iPhones, Androids and printers.
  • Support approved software and/or applications.
  • Maintain accuracy of the Asset Management repository.
  • Timely completion of projects identified by management.
  • Develop, support and maintain IT processes and Policy deployment plans.
  • Follow IT standard work instructions and processes.
  • Respond to systems outages and assist in team problem triage and remediation of server and systems outages.
  • Ensure procured IT related equipment falls within approved hardware/software standards.
  • Investigate and research new IT technology.
  • Provide regular on-call rotation.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.
  • Conduct research on desktop products in support of PC procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend products for purchase.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Associates degree (A.A.) in Computer Science or related field from two-year college or university; and five years of working experience with two years of experience in networking concepts; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Networking ,  A+ Certification, Phone PBX operations a plus. ITIL experience a plus. Prior leadership experience a plus. Ability and desire to grow into a leadership role.




Ability to read, analyze and interpret such items as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or simple governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions where a certain degree of tact and discretion is needed.





  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
  • Ability to use such concepts in practical situations.
  • Ability to use a computer to create spreadsheets and charts and run reports.





  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain excellent customer relation skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work within team concept.
  • Proficiency with Windows, specifically Windows XP, 7, Server 2008, Server 2012 and Active Directory and Exchange or Lotus Notes
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work overtime when required and travel occasionally.
