    SUMMARY

     

    We’re looking for a graphic designer who will be responsible for producing high-quality digital and print design work for our flagship brand, Frontier Co-op, as well as for our other brands – Simply Organic and Aura Cacia. You’ll support the Frontier Co-op Marketing Engagement Manager and the company’s Experience Designers in digital asset management, package and label production, social media asset production and photography post-production. 

     

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Designs marketing materials for all Frontier brands.
    • Provides design support for team Experience Designers including, not limited to: image editing, new product mock-up creation, digital asset management, layout design and text formatting.
    • Develops web content visuals, sell sheets, ads and in-store materials as needed.
    • Makes label changes and packaging revisions.
    • Works proficiently in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
    • Manages content in Adobe Experience Manger (prior experience is a plus!)
    • Strives to reduce waste, recycle materials, and re-use resources whenever possible.
    • Works safely at all times, follows safety rules and policies and participates in scheduled trainings.
    • Reports injuries and near misses promptly and in required detailed format; proposes corrective action.
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    No supervisory duties.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

     

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in graphic design, fine arts or related field from a four-year college or university and 1 to 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

     

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such items as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or simple governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions where a certain degree of tact and discretion is needed.

     

    QUANTITATIVE SKILLS

     

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

     

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Proven skill in graphic design.
    • Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Willingness to take on additional projects.
