    SUMMARY

     

    Responsible for delivering every project on time within budget and scope. Should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. Will be required to manage several projects simultaneously while considering innovative, practical, cost effective strategies in the project planning based on complexity and enterprise risk.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
    • Report project status and escalate to management as needed
    • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Directly supervises contractors as needed for project work.
    • May direct employees, maintenance or production, as needed for to support project implementation.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

     

    Bachelor's degree (BS) in engineering or related field from four-year college or university; and 5-10 years related project management/engineering experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Able to demonstrate leadership capability.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

     

    Ability to read, analyze and interpret such items as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or simple governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions where a certain degree of tact and discretion is needed.

     

    QUANTITATIVE SKILLS

     

    Ability to comprehend the most complex financial principles. Ability to use a computer to create highly customized spreadsheets, charts and reports, and interpret data. Ability to analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and the most detailed types of financial documents, and apply information to make long-term, strategic decisions.

     

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently.
    • Good organizational skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work within team concept.
    • Proficiency with Word, Excel, AutoCad and database software.
