    Leads the new product development process from strategy through product launch. Responsible for maintaining a pipeline of multiple innovation projects and launching multiple initiatives annually.



    • Lead and execute the new product development process
      • Strategy- understand consumer, customer, competitive and product category environments, identifying long-term innovation plan, specific high-potential opportunity spaces and innovation success criteria
      • Concept- develop winning product concepts against high-potential strategies
      • Product- lead cross-functional project teams to develop unique and superior product & package solutions
      • Commercialization- lead cross-functional project teams to scaled product & package solutions ready for launch


    • Develop strong cross-functional relationships, particularly with product development, package development, operations, brand marketing, finance and sales.
    • Conduct syndicated research analysis and coordinate custom consumer research.
    • Lead idea sourcing and business case development through launch approval.
    • Operates sustainably and strives to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and re-use resources when practical.
    • Works safely at all times, follows safety rules and policies and participates in scheduled training.
    • Reports injuries and near misses promptly and in required detailed format; proposes corrective action.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in marketing, communications, sales, advertising, business administration, or related field; and 4 to 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred; 2 to 3 years innovation experience preferred.




    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such items as highly detailed professional, scientific, and technical journals, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from both inside and outside the company. Ability to write speeches, articles, or memo using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to such groups as top management, boards of directors, or the general public.




    Ability to comprehend the most complex financial principles. Ability to use a computer to create highly customized spreadsheets, charts and reports, presentations, and interpret data. Ability to analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and the most detailed types of financial documents, and apply information to make long-term, strategic decisions.
