    SUMMARY

     

    Supports field sales with best-in-class administrative and analytical support to grow sales through informed, data-driven business decisions. Provides supervision, direction and leadership for the sales services staff and operates as key liaison with internal departments.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the sales analytics team aligned with field sales to develop customer insights answering critical business questions utilizing descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
    • Support field sales with analytical tools and expertise to allow them to become more knowledgeable and self-sufficient.
    • Manage multiple data sources and ensure analytics resources are properly allocated.
    • Build and maintain reports menu and reporting dashboard tools.
    • Analyze and organize sales operations and procedures such as budgeting, tracking, pricing, reporting, communication, and policies & procedures.
    • Ensure proper maintenance of broker contracts and, commission programs.
    • Lead the sales administrative support team to ensure field sales is equipped with the necessary tools to manage day-to-day activities and maintain customer relationships.
    • Oversee distributor orders and deductions transactions.
    • Manage field sales communication, including brokers, distributors, and field sales personnel.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES       

     

    Directly supervises employees in the Sales Services department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

     

    Takes responsibility for safety within department and actively assesses hazards in their department and finds solutions to those hazards.

     

    Reinforces a safety culture: leads by example, reminds employees to work safely, praises good behavior and safe practices, encourages suggestions, communicates consequences for unsafe acts, holds employees accountable, disciplines employees when warranted.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE       

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

     

    Ability to read, analyze and interpret such items as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or simple governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions where a certain degree of tact and discretion is needed.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS                     

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    REASONING ABILITY

    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs; Project Management software and familiarity with other business software.
